Hey guys, I'm running a windows 10 VM on a Windows 10 host machine through vmware Workstation Pro 15
I have the maximum disk size set to 240GB, and the vm directory is currently on my ssd drive to make things run better. However, the ssd disk is only 500GB, so that's why I have the vm limited to 240GB. The problem is, the VM is running exceedingly higher then that. It's currently sitting at over 390GB.
I have cleaned the disk, defragmented it, and also tried compacting it, all to no avail.
I don't understand why the vmdk files are going above my set limit of 240GB.
I have attached a couple of screenshots to outline the issue.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate to hear them!
