I have a dual boot (Windows 10 and Linux (Ubuntu)) 1TB nvme drive formatted with 4K block size. I want to use Ubuntu partition as VM Disk on Workstation Pro for Windows 10. However Workstation Pro 15.5 is not able to read the partition table from this physical disk. The error I get is the following:
"Failed to load partitions for device \\.\PhysicalDrive0: The partition table is invalid"
Is it because this drive has a 4K block size? If yes, what can I do to fix this issue apart from re-formatting the disk to 512B block size?
FYI, I have two other disks (SSD and nvme) from which workstation has no issues reading the partition table. Both of them have a 512B block size though.
Thank you!
