I inherited this environment. We have 2 ESX 4.1 U3 Clusters. I am having issue with HA. In /var/log/vmware/aam/aam_config_util_monitornodes.log file, I see following error
I found VMware KB article # 2003774 that is pointing to networking. I further investigated and found that Service Console port group has been configured in vDS and both the clusters
are sharing same port group. Both clusters are on the same subnet but even then I think they should not be in the same port group and should have separate port group in vDS for each cluster.
I tried to reconfigure HA at host level and at cluster level but it never completes and gets stuck at around 60% may be because during election, it gets confused as it finds hosts which
are part of other cluster in the port group.
Any thoughts Plz.
